Holly & Rich | Coombe Lodge Wedding

Coombe Lodge Wedding Photography

This was my first time doing Coombe Lodge wedding photography but what a wedding it was! I first booked this wedding with Holly and Rich years before but a little kiddo came along and set plans back a bit. With our rescheduled date booked, I was super excited to meet up with them again and do their Coombe Lodge wedding photography. They told me they loved my documentary wedding photography and wanted the day to be relaxed as possible. We still went out for a few minutes to get some portraits but, for 99% of the day, I just photographed things as they happened, without staging or interrupting the fun.

Thanks again to Holly and Rich for letting me do their Coombe Lodge Wedding photography

Old Down Manor Wedding Photography | Reportage Wedding Photographer Bristol

With a very busy December full of winter weddings and Christmas family photo sessions edited and delivered, I'm finally getting a chance to blog this fantastic Old Down Manor Wedding, photographed just before Christmas. Rob and Camilla had a beautiful winter wedding at this lovely venue in Bristol; it was the first time I'd been the wedding photographer at Old Down Manor. The hilltop setting is amazing with stunning outdoor spaces and, although we were inside the whole day because it was December, the interior space is so nice we didn't miss out on anything. Thanks again to Camilla and Rob for having me there to photograph your day.

One Image, Three Perspectives | Tortworth Court Wedding Photography

Here is a series of three images taken in quick succession during the wedding ceremony. Although the bride and groom are most certainly the focus of attention, there are so many characters and emotions surrounding them that it is important for any documentary wedding photographer to capture the full story of the day by not just focusing on the couple.

I like all three pictures on their own, but presenting them together tells so much more about how important this day really is for everyone.
