Crowcombe Court Wedding Photography

For my last wedding of 2018, I had the pleasure of working with Ava and Pete at the beautiful Crowcombe Court mansion about an hour from Bristol. It was my first time doing Crowcombe Court Wedding Photography at this late Autumn wedding in the Quantock Hills, Somerset, but I can’t wait to go back. Pete, Ava and all their guests (many having traveled from America) were great to work with and it was such a relaxed wedding day that it fit perfectly with my documentary style of wedding photography. A huge thanks also to the amazing hosts for putting on such great food and being so accommodating throughout the weekend.

Wedding Photographer Thornbury

This was an absolute blast of a wedding to photograph! Although it wasn’t my first time as a wedding photographer in Thornbury, this one had a nice local touch to it with most of the guests originating from Thornbury. The Thornbury wedding venue used was a a beautifully decorated marquee on some of the family’s land. It had some of the best speeches I’ve heard in a while and some afternoon dancing normally reserved for the end of the night!

I had such a great time as their wedding photographer Thornbury; thanks so much again to John and Sarah for amazing day!

Bridal Prep | Documentary Style Wedding Photography

I just love all the activity that takes place before the wedding ceremony and this picture taken at Walton Castle is so much better at telling the story of the day than any staged ‘perfect’ photo could do. Documentary style wedding photography is about observation, timing and patience to get the shot.

Coombe Lodge Wedding Photography

This was my first time doing Coombe Lodge wedding photography but what a wedding it was! I first booked this wedding with Holly and Rich years before but a little kiddo came along and set plans back a bit. With our rescheduled date booked, I was super excited to meet up with them again and do their Coombe Lodge wedding photography. They told me they loved my documentary wedding photography and wanted the day to be relaxed as possible. We still went out for a few minutes to get some portraits but, for 99% of the day, I just photographed things as they happened, without staging or interrupting the fun.

Thanks again to Holly and Rich for letting me do their Coombe Lodge Wedding photography
