The joy in the bride's face, the pride in the groom's. This is one of my favourite images from the other weekend when I was the wedding photographer Coombe Lodge in Somerset.
It's the little moments like this why I love being a UK Documentary wedding photographer.
This was my first time doing Huntstile Organic Farm Wedding Photography but what a great, relaxed venue in the heart of Somerset, which suited Matt and Morgana perfectly! When I first met Matt and Morgana, I learned that Matt was a documentary filmmaker and was looking for a documentary wedding photographer to capture their day in an unobtrusive way, but capturing the essence of the day.
They opted for a Humanist Wedding Ceremony, having already gotten married at the registry office, which is such a nice option to truly make your wedding ceremony unique and yours. As an apparent eBay prodigy, Morgana had some great vintage finds which were displayed throughout the venue and Matt took on the role of concrete casting for all their table vases and decorations.
Although we a had a few sprinkles during the day, I love the shot we got with the girls embracing the weather and getting out in the beautiful countryside with their brolly's. A bit of rain usually leads to a lovely sunset and it didn't disappoint that day so we headed out for 10 minutes after dinner for a stroll in the adjacent fields.
A lovely moment captured of a mother helping her daughter before her Priston Mill Wedding near Bath.
